Fire-resistant laminated panels (B, s1, d0 according to EN 13501) — a fire-protection upgrade for standard construction boards and panels.
Si-X SAFE adds a fire-retardant layer of Si-X PRE prepreg to standard construction boards — particleboard, MDF, OSB — through hot-pressing. The approximately 1 mm thick Si-X PRE layer provides reliable fire protection and prevents the spread of flames across the surface.
Si-X SAFE INTERIOR — interior and furniture panels based on particleboard or MDF, laminated with HPL. Between the particleboard and HPL lies a fire-retardant layer of Si-X PRE prepreg, hot-pressed.
The approximately 1 mm thick Si-X PRE layer provides reliable fire protection for the panels and prevents the spread of flames across the surface.
Suitable for:
Si-X SAFE ROOF — solid roof sheathing based on OSB 3. A fire-resistant layer of Si-X PRE prepreg, hot-pressed, is applied to both sides of the OSB board.
Particularly effective for bitumen shingle roofs — this sheathing completely prevents the spread of flames across the surface and the spread of fire caused by the ignition of bitumen shingles and/or a short circuit in electrical wiring.
