A family of composite structural boards based on our patented non-organic bonding agent Si‑X BINDER using various cellulose-containing materials, including typically non-recyclable or hard-to-recycle waste.
Si‑X BOARD is an advanced solution for modern construction. It is manufactured using both plant-based raw materials and non-recyclable or hard-to-recycle cellulose-containing waste.
The plant-based raw materials used include fibers from annual and perennial plants, as well as waste from their processing (wood, hemp, linen, miscanthus, jute, raffia, hay, POEFB and OPF fibers, etc.).
Compared to traditional materials like fiber cement and cement-particle boards
According to EN 13501-1 — low combustible
Si‑X BOARD not only allows recycling of problematic waste, but is 100% recyclable itself
Resistant to rodents, insects (incl. termites), mold, mildew, and fungus
Does not contain formaldehyde — safe for residential and commercial interiors
Suitable as structural panels in floor and roof constructions as well as for facade cladding
Si‑X PRE prepreg made from hemp fabric is used to produce Si‑X HEMPBOARD panels.
Replacing 1 m² of facade fiber cement panels with 1 m² of Si‑X HEMPBOARD reduces carbon emissions by 15 kg CO₂e.
The following are used as non-recyclable or hard-to-recycle waste:
Those wastes can be used in bulk, unsorted, without preliminary cleaning and drying.
Combined with profiles Si‑X FRAME, thermal insulating Si‑X THERM and Si‑X BOARD panels, they can be a base for quickly erectable mass market housing.
Si‑X HEMPBOARD and Si‑X WOODBOARD panels in mass construction of frame residential buildings are a low-carbon alternative to facade fiber cement and cement-particle boards.
For Si‑X HEMPBOARD facade panels, putty and paints have been selected by two leading facade coating EU companies.
Si‑X BOARD not only allows to recycle problematic waste, but it is 100% recyclable itself.
